Formal charges have been brought against two men related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
